On a clear, early November morning, around 5 am, I met with tourists and friends from the TLC Hiking Club at the meeting point with US 60 in Golden Canyon, on the east side of Phoenix, and by 5:30 after gathering all members of our group Because the superstition of the Ridgeline Hike is a “one-way” hiking trip, we quickly set off with organizing the necessary logistics for this adventure, dropping the shuttle vehicles to Lost Goldmine Trailhead, where our day trip will end to have access to the vehicle and wait for us by after the return of our afternoon. After we launched a few cars, we quickly went to the Mining Camp restaurant, located near Lost Dutchman State Park, and where on the Siphon Draw track our superstition Ridgeline Hike and extreme adventures will finally begin!

It was by 7 o'clock in the morning when the sun began to rise, and now huge harsh superstitious mountains are now visible, the first stage of our day began when we went to Siphon path and began a steep and strict ascent to flat iron, rock climbing, scramble, straight up, gaining about 2,000 feet in just 3 miles, until finally they were on a ridge and, according to estimates, 4,600 feet high, by 8:45 in the morning. Although the Ridgeline superstition can be raised in any direction, from west to east, east to west, our plan and strategy was to launch Flat Iron to get the most out of it first, when our energy was at its highest level, and the sun in the west and on our backs in the afternoon, when we made a steep and tense descent back to the Charney Springs trail.

After a short break, photos, and regrouping our participants at the top, as well as with the wide open, absolutely breathtaking landscape of the superstitious desert, which is now 9:15 am, we turned left to choose and from there began a long, tense and treacherous Journey through Superstition Regis, also commonly called the “Superstition Death March,” and we will soon find out why!

From Siphon Draw saddle, and now on the ridge, the real adventure began when we started on a small ridgeline track that starts relatively smooth and light, but not so long. With magnificent and extensive views of both the Superstition Desert in one direction and the Phoenix Valley, on the other hand, we soon passed the Monument Canyon to our right, and from there the difficulty of the journey began to increase suddenly, as now we became went down, up and down again, combined with some climbing, scrambling, all this time with beautiful and incredible landscapes from one side to the other, which was absolutely amazing and impressive!

Now, reaching around midnight and still a good time, the incredible adventure continued as we walked along a narrow, but well-laid path, and after we set off to a less intense "classic ridge walk", still enjoying the beautiful view of Weaver. The needle and Superstition of the desert to our left, we quickly walked past Hog Canyon, and then a beautiful hieroglyphic canyon to our right, and then immediately began to encounter very steep and very dangerous climbs and scramble, continuing right through the dangerous rock trap, and Knees scraped, legs were worn and completely out of breath after having experienced some of the most intense, difficult and stressful 3-4 classes we have ever done before, by 12 o'clock we finally got to the Superstition peak, at an elevation of 5057 feet and the highest that ka all the Superstition Mountains. Wow, what an incredible journey has been so far!

As soon as you reached the saddle located at the base of the peak, we enjoyed a rest stop for snacks and lunch and caught our breath again. However, remaining aware of our time, we continued our short and short breaks, and while other participants ventured to the summit of the summit, we decided to put pressure on him and now with most of the intense climbing behind us, we made our way around the base from the peak and began to gently go down.

Now with an absolutely breathtaking view of Needle and Weaver’s Four Peaks over long distances, the day was well on us, as the long and rigorous journey stretches as we continue to guide the finding and find small rock cores for guidance and lead us on the road to rough around 2: At 15 pm, and just over 7 hours of extremely intense and uninterrupted trekking, we finally reached the Saddle of West Boulder and sign for our critical outage for Carney Springs.

Once arriving at West Boulder Saddle, we felt that the fatigue of our body really began to appear by this time. However, having spent the last break for rest, we took a deep breath, pulled out some more painkillers and with all our legs, feeling like noodles, we put on one last group picture, then made a turn for Karni. Fortunately, now, at the last part of our adventure, and on all loose rocks and terrain, we slowly and carefully followed the small rock pyramids and made our way along the extremely steep and dangerous, but absolutely magnificent trail of Carney Springs, until finally, and our water levels, which are now beginning to end, and feeling completely exhausted and tired, we finally returned to the bottom of the canyon and completed this incredible day and incredibly extreme adventures in the Charney Springs trail, where our traffic The parks were parked between 3 pm

All in all, a terrific and incredible adventure! Amazingly gorgeous with breathtaking landscapes literally from start to finish and a real test of personal strength, fitness, endurance and courage! With a total walking distance of about 11.7 miles, an accumulated increase in height of about 5,000 feet, as well as an extremely difficult, highly stressed and dangerous class of 3-4, climbing and scrambling, we all agreed that the superstition of Ridgeline Hike was the toughest, the most intense trekking we have ever done before, as a club and most of the members of our group that day, we successfully completed this legendary and epic adventure in 7-8 hours of total hiking time.

Of course, Superstition Ridgeline Hike is an absolutely unforgettable and epic adventure that justifies its name and reputation and will be remembered for a long time. And for a stunning and great group of tourists and friends of the TLC Poker Club, who went out that day and went beyond their limits and reinforced this extreme adventure and challenge, what a revered achievement that will live for years to come!
