Cerebral palsy and birth trauma -2

Having a baby can be an incredibly beautiful and precious experience in your life. This is a moment that will surely stay with mother and father forever. And many children are born in hospitals. When mothers expect that they will carefully select the doctor and hospital with which they like best. But, going to a safe hospital with doctors who will take care of you better, and your child may be harder than we thought before. When your child comes to the world, you want him to come to this world free from disorder and well ... be healthy as a newborn. But unfortunately, this is not always the case. Often, the negligence of physicians can lead to serious birth defects, such as cerebral palsy.

What is cerebral palsy?

Cerebral palsy affects the brain. Cerebral is associated with the cerebellum, and paralysis indicates movement. Most CPy victims are babies. It is often called a variety of disorders that affect the brain, causing problems with vision, hearing, mental thoughts and movement. CP often affects children 2 years and under. These developmental deficiencies are usually not immediately obvious to parents and show only progress when the infant cannot walk, crawl or sit as easily as most babies.

What could be the cause of cerebral palsy?

Sometimes CP, unfortunately, is caused by the negligence of the doctor. Carelessness of a doctor is considered medical negligence, which can have serious consequences for your newborn baby.

Some of these cases of negligence are:

  • Leaving the child in the channel for too long.
  • Inability to recognize and treat seizures after birth.
  • Not noticing that the umbilical cord wrapped around the child’s neck, cutting off oxygen to the brain.
  • Do not initiate a cesarean section in time.

All these negligent acts can lead to cerebral palsy in the newborn. And what is CP related to how your child will live? Well, every child is different, but in general, the symptoms of CP:

  • Cramped connections that do not extend fully, as they are enclosed in contracts. This is known as joint contracture.
  • Muscle weakness causes inability to move these muscles, almost like paralysis.
  • Abnormal walk, because leg muscles do not function or do not bend correctly.
  • Containment of coordination
  • Very dense muscles that do not move or shrink.

Unfortunately, CP has no medicine and will forever affect the life of your child. If your child has suffered from CP due to the negligence of the doctor, you have a case for medical negligence.
