Bonnie's best friend is Elena, and they have very close relationships, almost like sisters. It is not known about their friendship until Helena's parents died, but the scenes in most episodes indicate that their friendship was very close. Caroline Forbes:
Bonnie and Caroline are also close, although they are not as open to each other as Elena and Bonnie.
