Installing stickers on your vehicle -2

BEFORE YOU START:

1) This product is specially designed for installation outside the car.

2) Required items include a mounting blade, masking tape, wiper, dry paper towels, a measuring tape or a ruler.

3) Do not use any vinyl graphics in direct sunlight. Make sure that it is between 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Park your car in the garage in the shade. Allow to cool for 30 minutes if hot.

4) Do not store non-applied graphics in direct sunlight - damage may occur.

5) All dirt, grease and wax must be removed from the surface of the car before applying the sticker. This includes wax from a mechanical car wash, rain-x, compound, etc. Failure to follow this step may result in the sticker not sticking to the surface of the car.

STEP 1 - MAKE SURE WITH A SHIPPING CONTAINER - Remove stickers from packaging. Put stickers on a smooth table in an area that is at least 60 ° F and below 80 ° F.

STEP 2 - SURFACE PREPARATION - The most important step during the installation of the sticker is to ensure that the installation site is clean and dry. Make sure that the surface does not have NO WAX, RAIN-X, COMPOUND, lint, dust or other residues. Remove all wax, compound residue, car wash demonstrators, etc. With rubbing or denatured alcohol. After cleaning the surface, go to the surface with a regular glass cleaner.

STEP 3 - FIND THE DESIRED LAYOUT OF PLANTS - Using a line or another line, place it above the car from front to back at the right place for the lanes. Ensure that the column is symmetrically centered on the vehicle. Mark this place with a pencil of another non-permanent marking device in front of and behind each body panel. This will serve as the location of the edges of the bands.

STEP 4 - PLACE THE STRINGS - Measure the length of each housing panel to which the strip should be applied. Put a strip on the area of the vehicle, cutting off the extra strip from one end (leave at least an inch apart). Save all cut pieces, as they can be used to cover bumpers and fins.

STEP 5 - SAFETY SIMPLE - Place a strip of masking tape on one end of the strip, as this will hold the end of the strip during installation. Working from this side to the other, slowly peel off the paper for the print halfway down and spray the surface of the body with a fine mist of aqueous solution (not a soap solution). Using a doctor blade, apply a strip to the body panel that runs from the center of the strip to the outside. As you work further along the strip, slowly continue to remove the backing if necessary. Slowly continue applying the strip with a squeegee, applying uniform pressure across the strip width.

STEP 6 - REMOVE PASSING PAPER - Once the entire piece has been applied, remove the protective tape from the end of the strip. Then remove the cover of the transfer belt by gently pulling it parallel to the surface of the car (NOT UP, BUT CASE).

STEP 7 - SET UP COMPLETION - Any small air pockets can be easily removed by first placing a small hole in the bubble (small hole, not a large cut). Then moisten the edge of the scraper with water and slide the squeegee along the surface of the strip where the bubble is located, acting on the air to the hole.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE :

Once the sticker is installed to make it look new, simply wash it whenever you wash the car. You can apply car wax, clear coat or RainEx over the sticker after applying it. Your new sticker will give you many years. If you are in a cold climate, be careful when using an ice scraper on any surface on which stickers are applied.
