Since childhood, I always wanted to visit Australia and be a frequent traveler, this year I decided to go to Melbourne in the dynamic capital of Australia. I love outdoor activities, wonderful entertainment, a rich historical culture and fine art; Amazingly, Melbourne has it all.
Therefore, without any second thoughts, I made a decision and ordered flights to my business and my wife to Melbourne. There is something for everyone in this city; As much as I loved outdoors, my wife loved art and historical culture. So this was our perfect vacation trip. Here is a list of amazing places we visited in Melbourne.
State Library of Victoria
The State Library of Victoria is the foundation of Melbourne’s fictional scene from 1854, in which it was created. In 2008, she earned recognition under the title “UNESCO Literature”. This library has over two million books in its collection. In 1913, in the epicenter of the library, the octagonal reading room La Trobe was filled, where several intellectual writers from Melbourne came to write down their works.
Queen Victoria Market
It is very difficult to stay away from the market when traveling with a lady. The same thing happened in my case, and to the delight of my wife, she loved shopping at Queen Victoria’s market. This open air market is located in the southern hemisphere and there are more than 600 merchants selling their goods. Here, Melbourners sniff out fresh produce, such as fruits and vegetables, for their delicious Australian cuisines. In this market you will find all kinds of products from wines, truffle oils, fish, Greek dips for soft cheese.
Royal Botanic Gardens
Royal Botanic Gardens are the best botanical gardens in the world and are the best attractions of Melbourne. Located next to the Yarra River is an exquisitely decorated complex of gardens of several plants from around the world and a widespread Australian flora. You'll love mini-ecosystems, succulents and cacti, as well as homegrown rainforests. My wife and I are spending some real time here.
Peeling Island
For years, I was fascinated by the Phillip Island Penguin parade, but this time seeing it was an exciting experience. Phillip Island has the largest Penguin colony, people travel to this island to watch as these penguins come out of the sea, feed their young and interact vocally with each other.
Attica
The award-winning restaurant Attica was the place where I really wanted to dine in Australia. This restaurant serves amazing Ben Shewry dishes, where you can enjoy delicious Australian dishes here in this fine restaurant.
Wine and grape tour of the Yarra Valley
The most amazing part of our trip was a tour of the vineyards of the Yarra Valley. Attending four of the four best wineries was just awesome, Yering Station, Yering Farm, Domaine Handhand and Balgowine Estate. For lunch we had the opportunity to try some of the best wines, as well as experience the most beautiful landscapes of Australia.
Traveling to Melbourne Australia was an amazing experience in our lives, and starting the journey from our business class flight to Melbourne, it has become the best.
