Cenotes Park
Of course, the Mayan ruins are not all in Tulum. If you are interested in adventure, try the hidden worlds of Cenotes Park, where you will experience cave diving and scuba diving. You may even have heard of the Hidden Worlds of the Senots, if you saw the IMAX film “Journey to the Amazing Caves” that was filmed there. The cenotes offer you awesome snorkeling or scuba diving in fresh crystal clear water. Swimming through the park’s underground waters, surrounded by stalactites and stalagmites, this experience will be phenomenal. Excursions welcome everyone, including beginners.
Punta laguna
If you are traveling to Tulum, be sure to bring walking shoes to Punta Laguna, located less than 30 minutes from the city. Forest lovers will enjoy a 5,000-hectare nature reserve, of which Punta Laguna is a part. Punta Laguna is an eco-tourist destination where you can observe nature and wildlife. Through your tour you can see monkey spiders in the wild, as well as breathtaking views of the jungle flora. On the jungle trails you can see much more wild animals.
