Rugs are abused a lot, especially if they are located in high traffic areas. A good oath will go a long way in helping your carpets stay clean. Having rugs to wipe your feet, and rules like lack of shoes in the house, or lack of food from the kitchen, will definitely help, but we break the rules and the accidents.

So how do you clean the mat? Well, most area carpets are small enough to go out, and these are the ones I'll talk about.

After you take your rug out of the shake, do your best not to damage the rug. Place it on a clean surface, preferably a garage floor and dry it horizontally or vertically. Use a mild detergent with a soft brush to clean your carpet. Before starting work, be sure to check a small area. Gently brush back and forth while working with a vacuum cleaner in a mat that releases dirt. Rinse the entire carpet until all the cleaning solution disappears. Remove excess water and place the mat on a flat surface to dry. Once the top is dry, turn it over to dry the other side. Ensure that the carpet is completely dry to avoid mold.

Suppose you spilled something on the carpet? What do you do? Well, for spills, it's best to take action right away. Most carpets have a peculiar stain resistance that keeps liquids from soaking, giving you a few minutes to get your cleaning products.

Plain white paper towels and cloth towels work best. When cleaning the spill, do not rub it, it will only spread the stain, instead gently blot it, first of all, dropping it from the surface of the mat. Increase the pressure when you begin to remove the impregnated liquids. Look under the mat to check if the fluid has passed. It is a good idea to maintain the spill area after you have cleaned it so that it is completely dry.

Again, good protection is the way to go. After removing the rules of your shoes and the lack of food outside the kitchen will help keep your mats clean.
