How to install a basic trampoline? -2

So you decided to install a ground trampoline?

In a ground trampoline, it usually sits just above a pit of 27 to 29 inches in size. To do this, you need to dig a hole 13.6 feet in diameter in the upper part of the trampoline, which is above the ground, and 12.6 feet in diameter for the lowest part of the pit. If the ground trampoline is to be assembled in a hole, then the diameter of the hole should be 14.6 feet above and 13.6 feet below. Before excavating, it is best to consult with a landscape design expert with recommendations for local soil conditions and appropriate measures for drainage in the area.

The entire ground trampoline system will have a height of 33 inches so that the trampoline is four to six inches above the level. If the area requires additional measures for good drainage, it may be useful to add 4 to 6 inches of gravel to the bottom of the pit for good drainage and to prevent standing water. If the area is particularly wet, a sump pump may be needed. This is a question for a local landscape design expert regarding local soil conditions and drainage. The area surrounding the above-ground trampoline should have a minimum of 18 feet above the head and nothing around the area 6 feet around. The soil should be soft, striking grass, sand, wood chips or other forgiving material.

Before you begin to dig the foundation for a ground trampoline, collect and organize all the equipment and parts for a ground trampoline. These parts typically include the following: upper frame segments, lower frame segments, side panels, rubber protective strip for gasket, gasket set, jump surface, springs, bolts, nuts, washers, screws and a set of tools. After you have done this, place the panels in a large circle. The template provided for the bottom frame will help mark the excavation pit. Make sure the spring holes on the top frame are facing up. Attach the bolts and screws, but only loosely, to ensure the movement of the system during assembly and alignment of the bolts. It is recommended to use a long screwdriver to ensure alignment of the holes. Reassemble the lower ring, leaving the screws loose. Overlap the 3 panels on the ground on top of each other to align the holes.

Attach the top holes to the panel holes and to the top frame with bolts and washers on the panel side, nuts and washers on the frame side, holding the spring holes up on the top frame, again loosely tightened. Attach the upper and lower frame rings using the correct bolts and washers, nuts and washers, leaving everything loose. Attach one panel at a time from the bottom bolts to the top with an allen key. Continue until the end, then tighten all bolts. Place the frame in the pit and back fill the soil so that the ridge rises to the edge of the machine. Install the side springs. For each spring there will be holes for the frame and the mat. Check the pattern carefully to ensure that each spring is connected. Install an edge protection panel, making sure all connections are complete. Do a security check and enjoy a ground trampoline.
