The dangers of using almond oil to treat dark circles -2

While quite a few sites suggest using almond oil to get rid of dark circles under the eyes, there are several well-known problems that can arise.

For starters, almond oil, also identified as laetrile in its edible form, comes from almonds, which is a nut. The Food Chemistry Journal notes that more than sixteen and a half million Americans are allergic to nuts. Most of them are not even aware of this, as the symptoms are slow and are considered as ordinary abdominal pain or unexplained rash. Regardless of whether these people should use it to cure dark circles, they inject an allergen right next to their eyes, one of the most sensitive areas of the body, and is likely to experience anything from a mild to a terrible allergic reaction.

Another reason that bothers you is because consuming almond extract is not recommended for pregnant or lactating women, as a number of studies have hinted at the hypothetical probability of birth defects. Cyanide secretion may have occurred if beta-glucuronidase is introduced. This enzyme is present in the human intestine and inside the nut itself. There is a procedure that can get rid of cyanide molecules, although it is still poisonous if absorbed in large quantities. Since some people may use almond oil to treat their dark circles excessively, this can be a serious dilemma.

The least harmful type of almond oil used to treat the dark circles is called sweet almond oil. The version for bitter almond oil is responsible for diseases and deaths in several known cases. In fact, the FDA has banned the use of bitter almond oil for medical use; invaluable, it is available for use, such as aromatherapy, because it contacts skin illegally or is internationally accepted. The trouble is that the community is largely unaware of the differences between the two types of oils, and may try to use bitter almond oil as a dark circular therapy by chance.

With all the unnecessary dangers outlined above, we are not sure why the person decided to risk using them under their eyes. In particular, since there are many alternative drugs approved by the FDA that do not represent dangerous side effects for getting rid of dark circles, they benefit the eyes.

Surgery is another option. However, this is usually only the last result in the most severe cases and usually provides only a moderate improvement.
