 Four ways to quickly change your life -2

During a recent seminar I gave, one of the participants asked: “How fast can I change my life?” An excellent question. Without hesitation, I told her and the group that you could change your life in an instant. The women looked at me with puzzled expressions. The rest of the event was devoted to exploring what is needed to change our lives, and that, truthfully, we can begin the process instantly. If you are ready to “fly up” and promote yourself in a new and better direction, here are four ways to quickly change your life:

1. Question and change, your beliefs
Everything that we have in our life is based on our beliefs. Since childhood, we absorb information from those closest to us, from our society and culture, and from our experience, and we form deeply rooted belief systems about our "I" and the world. These belief systems influence every choice and decision we make: whether we went to college or not; what kind of careers we have done; with whom we decided to be in a relationship; we honor and care for our body; we are responsible for the money; and so on. If something doesn’t work in your life — or never worked well — then you should question and change your beliefs in this area. This is a cruel first step to change. And you can do it quickly. This is similar to a toggle switch. If your relationship does not work, what do you believe in yourself and others when it comes to love, trust, support? Can you turn these beliefs around so that they become positive and affirmative? You can do this for any area of ​​your life that you want to change!

2. Change focus
Successful people focus on what they want and make sure that their time and energy is spent on achieving their goals. They are not blown up like the wind in all directions, losing sight of what they want. If you want to quickly change your life, pay attention, every day, what you focus on. If you want more money, are your actions consistent with getting more money, or do you spend time on nonessential tasks or distractions? Track yourself for several days and see what you are focusing on. Then see if this is really where you should invest your energy. Change your focus and you can change your life.

3. Be clear about what you want and why.
In my workshop that night, we discussed how life often comes down to a cost / benefit analysis. We do what we do, because for us there is an advantage or a win - even if the results are negative. We can overeat because food fills an emotional need or gives us a sense of control. We do not like the result, but we will change only when the cost to us — in this case, poor health, a feeling of unattractiveness, a desire to improve our body and appearance — outweighs the benefits. If you want to change an important part of your life and start the process quickly, then you should contact your feelings about your life today and how it will be felt when you have such a life. You need to know what you want and why you want it.

4. Act according to what you want.
Everything that we do or do not do has consequences. The person with whom you married - or the one you did not marry, changed your life. The work you have taken or not accepted has influenced your life. And so on. If you want to quickly change your life, you need to know what you want and take actions that meet these goals. If you want to lose weight, stop eating junk, make the best choice of products and move your body! If you want to save money on a dream trip, stop spending on what you don't need or really want. When you know what you want, remember what you will do with it and act in accordance with your goals.

These are four ways to quickly change your life. You will immediately see progress. Of course, some changes take longer than others, however, if you start something and start soon, your life will improve significantly.
