Why not all restaurants use an open table or not wait? -2

There is nothing worse than to appear in a restaurant with a group of friends and realize that there will be an hour and a half to wait. First of all, to find a place in which the whole group could agree, first of all was a nightmare. Then there was parking and tried to just enter. And now that you are there, half want to leave, and the rest think that the hour does not matter much.

Ugh.

All this could be solved if the restaurant could cope with the reservation or call in advance. Despite the fact that many of them bounced on this tape of ease (thank you very much), not all restaurants have adopted these new technologies. The question is why?

Here is a list of quite reasonable explanations for why restaurants do not change:

1.) Change

In their opposition to change, there is no such group as restaurant owners. If the system works or even works, or does not work, but they can cope with it, there will be no changes. Attempting to convince them otherwise is useless.

2.) Cost

As much as they hate change, they no longer spend money. What many people do not understand in running a restaurant is that their costs are so high that profits are too low that adding any new expenses is money right out of their pocket.
Customization - every owner wants something different from the same product. Attempting to sell them on the same level fits the whole situation is often a barrier.

3.) Training

The turnover for employees in the restaurant is higher than in any other industry. People often leave with a drop of a hat and for the most inconsistent reasons. To teach each new employee how to use the reservation system, it may seem more complicated than just a pen and paper, which you are used to.

4.) Customer Satisfaction

It seems that this is stupid, because it is a client that requires a better system, but many owners fear that their regular customers will not want to change how they get their table, and that the new system will drive away the existing business.

5.) Representatives of the sales department

Here is a big one. There is perhaps less than 1% of restaurant owners who like to receive calls from sales representatives. With this in mind, if the owner is not already looking for a solution, then # 39; S, undoubtedly, they and # 39; will again be ready to listen to anyone about anything, including booking applications.
