Vacation holidays - basic tips and tricks! -2

In the UK there are many offers for vacationers of all ages where you decide to go. Most universities will have a lot of tourist information for you to study and use to plan your vacation.

Some tips when booking.

  1. Make sure that you have the correct size of your device, i.e. the length of your caravan, including the tug and tent, including park routes. This is important for pitching. Be sure to tell the park if this changes.

  2. Give information about canopies and tent attachments, if you have one.

  3. Be sure to order any additional items, for example, a kitchen tent, a gazebo, a puppy tent, a 2nd car, etc.

  4. For motor homes, the park will require length and information about your additional car, trailer, etc.

  5. If you have mobility problems and you should be near objects, let them know when you book. Campgrounds will always try to help you and make your stay enjoyable. Also check that the park can offer all the necessary amenities to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

General information and tips

  • Most camping parks will give you the right feed, others just let you go and find one, which can sometimes cause problems if you stay neatly on a quiet site, but suddenly you get new neighbors swaying nearby who just love being around other tourists.

  • Camping parks will always try to select you, but sometimes it can be impossible, especially if you have a big tent or caravan.

  • In the summer the grass is favorable. In good weather, nothing compares to grass. However, make sure you have a breathable sheet. It helps to keep the grass better for you.

  • Heavy positions, often called all weather fields, can vary between asphalt, gravel, concrete, or their mixture. If you want to install an awning, make sure you check it out first with the campsite.

  • Electric resins in almost all campsites are now supplied with 16 mm power. It is important not to exceed this. If you make your electricity, you can disconnect you from electricity until the power is turned on again! Some parks have resins with electrical measurements; others have electricity included in the fee. Most parks do not allow the use of electric heaters in sheds.

  • Full maintenance will include electrical, water, chemical equipment for emptying toilets and disposing of waste. Some parks also include Wi-Fi and a television antenna connection.

  • It is important that you make your campsite aware of any special needs that you need so that they can try and accommodate you.

  • Camping parks want you back, so please let them know if you are not satisfied with something as soon as possible and give the park a chance to correct the situation. They cannot do this if they wait until they come home to file a complaint.

  • Remember that noise moves easily between tents and caravans and can cause anxiety. Again, check out the silence in the park.

Camping is a friendly, happy way to enjoy a holiday that offers value for money in an outdoor environment.
