Carpets are popular flooring. They are warm, beautiful and pleasant to the touch - it is unusual to find homes in colder, walled climates. But, like all materials for the floor, the carpets become dirty after they have passed. Therefore, it is important to have a periodic carpet cleaning regime so that your carpets last a lifetime. This should include the use of a proper carpet cleaner and carpet deodorizer.
As with all other floor surfaces, the best way to keep a carpet clean is to prevent it from being too dirty in the first place. If the whole room is covered with carpets, it is often a good idea to have carpets at the entrance to your home. You can also leave pets on the carpets and make children eat and drink elsewhere.
But even if you leave your carpets mostly serene, they still collect some dust. And with dust, allergens and parasites get that can damage your health if they are not stopped. You also cannot but spill food and water on it at least several times during the life of the carpet.
Carpet stains - how to deal with them
Many of us are trying to wipe off the excess from the carpet with a cloth or sponge. Some of us even use hair dryers for drying. Not a good idea - it will make the stain stick, and it will make the area of the spill look ugly and old and even harm carpet fibers.
The correct way to deal with a liquid carpet stain is to use a towel or sponge to smooth out (not rub) any liquid that you can get. Then follow these steps for different types of stains. Choose your choice and choose the best carpet cleaning solution for your situation:
Lubrication / ink: Apply stain with a dry cleaning fluid (available in the laundry section at Walmart or in a wide variety of stores), then rinse with warm water and dishwashing liquid. Start at the edges of the stain and navigate your way inward, then allow the solution for five minutes.
Juice / Wine: Use a mixture of detergent and warm water. (Ammonia also works if the smell is not too offensive for you.) Then use a sponge to put some club soda on the stain, then apply warmer washing water.
Cover the stain with paper towels and let them stand overnight. In the morning, remove the paper towels and clean the stain. You can also evacuate any parts of the stain that may discharge and harden.
Carpet care for wall to wall carpeting
It is a good idea to clean wall to wall carpets once or twice a year. To start, remove the furniture and dry the entire carpet area. After the vacuum cleaner, you can detect stains, after which you can use the cleaning tips mentioned above.
After treating any stains, use a household carpet cleaner to thoroughly and thoroughly clean the entire carpet area at once. (Be sure to follow these instructions very carefully!)
Always use clean water - when the water gets dirty, dispose of it and come back with a bucket of clean water. After the entire rented area is completely discharged, you can replace your furniture.
