Why does vaginal sweating occur?
When the sympathetic nervous system in your body sends confused signals to the sweat glands of the vagina, you experience vaginal sweating. The reason is mostly hereditary. Tension can also be relieved during puberty.
The problem of vaginal sweating is often accompanied by vaginal itching. The problem of increasing vaginal discharge complicates the problem. Although it is not a serious infection, it is often inconvenient and even completely embarrassing. It can ruin your social life. If excessive vaginal sweating is accompanied by a pronounced unpleasant odor, you may have acquired an infection called bacterial vaginosis. In this case, you should immediately seek medical attention.
How to control the problem
Here are some tips you can try to control vaginal sweating.
• Follow a healthy and balanced diet. The excess of certain foods, such as sugar, alcohol and chocolate, stimulates more vaginal sweating.
• High carb products and saturated fatty acids are large, no no. They are naturally secreted by the vaginal sweat glands. So the more you swallow them, the more you sweat.
• Identify and isolate these foods or drinks, which as a trigger in your case. Avoid them
• Wear an easy fit for cotton. They help your skin breathe. Even when sweat is secreted, it dries quickly. Tight clothing, such as thongs and g-strings, exacerbates the problem.
• Drink plenty of natural juices. They keep the genital area hydrated.
It is impossible to completely cure vaginal sweating. If the problem becomes serious, you can try any or all of the following methods.
• Use absorbent pads, as during your periods. Thin are preferred, since the vagina should not be completely dry. It can also cause itching. Always carry extra pads.
• Some herbs are known to have beneficial effects. Prepare a warm cup of sage. Drink it or rub it on the affected area to get relief. Excessive sweating occurs when the brain thinks that you are too hot and instructs the nerves to secret sweat. Herbs help counter this instruction.
• Sitz bath soothes vaginal sweating and itching. Run a bath with warm water. Dissolve the salt in it and one or two cups of vinegar. Allow this water to touch your genital area for maximum comfort.
• Frequent washing with a mild, non-compressed soap is mandatory. Do not use strong detergents, deodorants or showers. You can bathe in extremely hot water and then quickly wash in very cold water. A hot and cold shower affects the nervous system and checks for sweating.
• Exfoliation and shaving of the pubic area will help you become comfortable, although this probably will not control sweating.
• Vigorous exercise opens the pores of the body. As you sweat everywhere, sweating in the genital area may decrease.
Use one or all of the methods to get relief from the general health of women. In extreme cases, you may consider Botox or sympathectomy, but they are usually not recommended.
