 Camping in Chekou Park -2

Looking for a great place to go camping in South Georgia, and then take a look at The Parks of Chehaw, located in Albany Georgia. This park has more than 700 hundred hectares of recreational opportunities, and every visitor will definitely find one that fulfills their fantasy of being outdoors. The park consists of high pines of Georgia pine that obscure the entire park with patches of reeds growing through the park. In addition, the preservation of the land allows an abundance of wildlife to move freely through the park.

At the entrance to the park, the road will be for traffic going in both directions, then the road turns to the right, turning it into one-way traffic that passes through the park. Due to the fact that this road is paved, it is ideal for cycling. Keep your eyes open, although there may be some pretty landscapes on the road around the park, watch the white-tailed deer driving through the trees, or the otters crossing the roadway, see if you can see the many species of birds that call this park their home. Felling is energetic, try one mile walking trail, I heard that this is great. Inside the circle there are festivals and events. It is necessary to see the event when the park returns in time when the Indians occupied this land. An educational experience that will leave indelible memories for all who attend.

Like fishing, there is a big fishing pond in this park, in which there is Brim, Soma, and there may be some Big bass. I do not speak. Pond fishing is not for you, try Lake Ceco, when you enter the front gate, take the left, and this road will lead to the lake. There is a boat dock and an extensive coastline to fish. Lake facilities include a picnic table, a pavilion and a grill.

One of the best attractions of the park is the Chekho Animal Park, which is dedicated to teaching people about animals in their natural habitat. This park allows visitors to leisurely stroll along the boardwalk and through cypress swamps to see animals, such as zebras and cheetahs, in their natural habitat. In total, the park has 55 species of wild animals for your enjoyment. Meerkat Maze is an ideal place for children to learn about Meerkat’s social life and their typical living conditions. After the zoo, hope to board Wiregrass Express for a 20-minute scenic park tour.

The park has classes for any age group, from toddlers to older teens. The game park is large enough to keep a child in the game for hours. Around the game park are pavilions with picnic tables and grills. An ideal place for family gatherings and picnics. Next to the game park is the Disc golf course, where you can learn the rules of playing golf, mastering your Frisbee skills. If you're a motocross enthusiast, try the BMX racing track. Visitors can ride on this track at any time during the park hours, as long as you have a bike and a helmet. Anyone who has a membership in the NBL may participate in authorized races.

Chekhov’s campground is one of the best in the area, with its canopy of pear pines and grass patches. The campground is located within walking distance of all amenities that the park has to offer. Inside the campground there are two laps for the RV and one for the tent camps. All areas have water and electricity, and some have full contact. Do not place a camper or a tent; try one of the log cabins surrounded by an RV. All camps have a picnic table and a ring of fire with a flip-top grill for fun meetings.

At the end of the day, under the tranquility of a canopy of trees is a great time to get together with other campgrounds or family members for outdoor cooking. Although I have gas grills, it is sometimes pleasant to enjoy the ring of fire in the camps. I just put my cooking rack and filled the air with grill flavor. Even squirrels running in and out of tall pines will stop and smell the air.
