Recently I was on the Internet looking at some books that I read to find out what other people had to say about them. I ran into one book, and many people said that it was very fraudulent and that in fact the author was not the person with whom you would like to communicate. It made me think. In our world today, there is so much word of mouth, literature, the media and now the Internet, which is a combination of all these and many others. Anyone can write whatever they want, I mean look at me, I'm doing it right now. Who can say that what I write is reliable? How do we distinguish between a legitimate honest writer and the words of stupid twisting to catch gullible slaves like me? With the advent of the Internet, we must also take a new approach to gaining knowledge and access to information from others.
In life, the best way to learn something is your own experience? The next best is to go to a reliable source of knowledge and wisdom, a friend, family or professional. Nevertheless, we must always be aware that people are completely imperfect beings, each of which has areas of ignorance, fear and suffering. Sometimes we really need to go with our "feeling about something that others have said. How about when you want to know about something with whom you have no experience?
On the Internet, exploring topics that interest you, you can do several things to try to decipher if the site is trustworthy. When you watch something that you know a little about, look for sites where the creator provides proof of credentials. Of course, they can also be faked, but then you can continue your search on this site and see what others can say about it. If you know nothing about this item, do a Google search. If the site is well known, it usually has many links related to it from people who have gained access to this information, and found it to be useful.
The basic idea is to recognize the possibilities there in this oversupply of mouths, spewing so-called wisdom. The nature of humanity must be curious and want to understand the existence in which we are. Charlatans will take this into account when building their stories and concepts. There are so many scammers on the Internet who do not include people whose opinions are not based on the fact that they believe that they share the truth.
In this age of exaggerated fear, sensational terror, and melodramatic theater, we must be very careful not to be drawn into believing in what we are told. If mass media corporations give us a subjective view of reality based on their personal interests and beliefs about what News is, then, of course, people can also express a distorted perception of reality on the Internet.
Do your research well. Do not cut corners. A question about everything you read. You do not need to have a cynic or even skeptical. Just realize that it is very easy to open your mouth and speak, and to speak is probably one action that our society can do much less. Maybe if we listen a little more, but don’t talk so much, we don’t need to search so often for the information we need in life. Be alert and aware of my friends. Keep these caps on!
