Gardens are a magical part of family life! -2

Gardens are a magical part of family life. Some open spaces, albeit limited, are a real bonus when you have children. The space in which you can run, play with the ball and learn how to dig, irrigate and grow plants is really useful for children growing up.

A good gardener can give you all sorts of ideas for your patch, whether you have a balcony or an acre or two. As well as internal planning, if you have space, you may want to define an area for adults and a separate area for children, since your needs are on top of each other. Adults enjoy the gardens for rest and relaxation, while children use them as playgrounds for free play, for secret lairs and for a couple's vacation.

So, what do you need for a beautiful children's garden?

Lawns are an excellent versatile garden surface in which children can kick balls and adults can sunbathe. Of course, they require maintenance - from regular mowing in spring and summer to annual feeding and weeding, in order to preserve the state of the top. Children running on the lawn can cause bare spots in hot weather, and wet weather dirt can be a problem. But there are tough types of grass on the market. In particular, fine-leaved rye grass is suitable for intensive use.

When planting in a family garden goes to strong plants that will confront the strange football football and stomp their feet. Tender plants should be hidden within the boundaries of the playground or in pots. Also beware of poisonous plants that small children can touch. They may even try to chew on flowers and berries. Sharp or effervescent plants can cause accidents, so keep them at least for an easier life.

Children love to discover how plants grow and love to pick fruits and vegetables that they cultivated themselves. Spring bulbs planted in the fall are very healthy, and fruits and vegetables that are easy to grow include running beans, tomatoes, salads and blueberries. Herbs are also quite reliable.

If you have space, small children love climbing equipment, swings and hammocks to play in. There are many ready made machines available, or some gardeners and carpenters will custom make walking stones, thick ropes, even tree houses! Just make sure that all the gaming equipment you use is properly fixed to the ground and that there is a safe fit under it - grass or bark cleaning works very well.

Other ideas include a sandbox - either built-in or temporary. It should be covered when it is not used to hold rain and animals. In addition, get sand sand is not ordinary sand, because it will be much thinner and more suitable. A water table or children's pool is also popular, but young children need supervision.

Another important attraction in the family garden is the pond. Children will enjoy wildlife - insects, plants, fish, even frogs. It is best to leave until the children stand on their feet and understand the danger of water. Even a small pond can be dangerous for a small child.

An ideal garden for a child is likely to have a secret den - a shady corner, some overgrown shrubs or some kind of space behind a tree. It is a pleasure for children to discover these places themselves and to claim ownership. But if this is not possible, you can buy alternatives such as tipi, tent or Wendy's house

An important part of family life, of course, is to eat together, and what could be more pleasant than a bit in the fresh air? The transitional area between the house and the garden is ideal for this - a hard surface, such as paving slabs or flooring, provides a good basis for tables and chairs and will make food a real event. Even a picnic on the balcony or lawn is a fun way to enjoy a meal together - perhaps some of them grew up and the children chose!

Children love to spend time outdoors, and if you have room for two people to sit or huge areas to play in their easy, to make the most of the space. Even just hanging the food for the birds and planting a couple of pots, you will bring out life for the child on the street.
