 Summer fun at Island Island Island Waterpark -2

Come and enjoy a fun afternoon at Discovery Island Water Park in Simpsonville, South Carolina. The water park is located at 417 Baldwin Road, in Southside Park. The park is located between Simpsonville and Maldin. It is owned and operated by the district district of Greenville. Water Park Island Island is one of three water parks belonging to the county. Others are Otter Creek in Northside Park, 101 W Darby Road and the 7th Inning Splash Waterpark in Lakeside Park, 1500 Piedmont Hwy. Both Otter Creek and 7th Inning Splash are new this season. The Greenville Recreation also has the Westside Water Center, 2700 W Blue Ridge Drive, which has an indoor pool.

Discovery Island Water Park has two water slides. A big yellow slide is a body slide, and a big blue one is a slider. Both slides enter the recreation pool. There is also a lazy river to swim. The newest addition to the park is FlowRider, a simulated surfing machine. The more dancing parks guests can do squatting, kneeling, boogie landing, and surfing. FlowRider tutorials are available. Also available are group swimming lessons with three levels of ability. Other amenities of the water park include a children's play structure, a terrace, concessions and cabin rental. It is not allowed to eat out or drink, but the concession cafe sells pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, corn dogs, cocktails, ice cream and drinks.

There are always sixteen certified lifeguards in the park, as well as personnel who can help with the pipes. All employees are CPR and AED certified. Opening hours are from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00 and from Sunday from 13:30 to 18:00. Rates are based on height, and there are height restrictions on slides and FlowRider. Daily passes and seasonal passes are available. Group rates are available for groups of 25 or more with reservations. Proper swimming is required.

FlowRider birthdays and parties are popular at Discovery Island Waterpark. They are available by reservation. Birthdays held in Kokos Park Cabins include pizza, cake, drinks, paper goods and a personal party host or hostess.

Simpsonville is located on the hills of northwestern South Carolina, just twelve miles south of Greenville. Renovation to the Town Square gave the Simpsonville city center a village feel. Many new shops and restaurants have been brought to the area. Simpsonville is consistently considered one of the best places in South Carolina to work and live.
