Official scenic drives on the Big Island of Hawaii are numerous. In fact, almost every disc on a beautiful island can be considered picturesque. Some of the most popular stage drives require all-wheel drive to access the entire disc. Rental companies specialize in vehicles only for this purpose, and most of them can be rented for an hour on the Big Island.

Onoma Bay Scenic Drive
This is one of the most popular scenic drives on the Big Island. This narrow, winding road takes you through a magnificent rainforest with beautiful bubbling streams visible from the road. This trip also allows you to view Onomea Mountain and the Tropical Botanical Garden.

Chain of Craters Road Scenic Drive
This unusual scenic drive offers views of the lava trees and a large field of petroglyphs. The trip lasts about two hours and is completely on asphalt roads.

Kahinahina Scenic Drive
This is a beautiful drive, but requires all-wheel drive due to the condition of the dirt road in some areas. The whole trip lasts about seven hours. You can choose between two different ways. The road, Kahinakhina Road, is devastated on Saddle Road, and the low road, Mana Road, leaves near Weimea. Both routes offer exceptional views unique to this beautiful scenic drive. Hiking trails and recreation areas can be found along the entire route.

Crater Scenic Drive
This three-hour train turns the rim of Kilauea volcano, passing through the Hawaiian desert Kau and the tropical rainforest!

Mauna Loa Scenic Drive
This seventeen minute, rambling drive leads you along a paved road when you travel the world's largest mountain, the mountain. Mauna Loa. You will see spectacular lava flows, beautiful landscapes and natural Hawaiian landscapes. This scenic drive ends at the Mauna Loa Weather Observatory, where a scenic hiking trail is set up for adventure to head to the top of the mountain.

Scenario Kumukakhi Lighthouse
This serene scenic drive takes you from Honolulu Landing to Kumukaki Lighthouse. He travels six miles on soft dirt roads and takes the average scenic driver in two hours. This scenic drive offers spectacular views of both flora and fauna found only in Hawaii.

Kalaika Scenario Upper Road in Kai
This 15-km stretch of the paved and well-groomed dirt road runs between Pahala and Naale on the Big Island. The hotel offers a breathtaking view of the forests, vegetation, wildlife and the sparkling blue ocean at an altitude of 2000 meters below you.

Scenic Drive Mauna Kea
This 43-mile long trek goes to the summit of Mauna Kea. Once at the top you can visit astronomical observations located nearby. On a clear day, this trip overlooks the neighboring Hawaiian Islands! This scenic drive takes you through a wide range of Hawaiian landscapes from the Rainforest to the inaccessible summit of Mauna Kea. The train may require all-wheel drive to reach the top.

Road to the Sea Scenario
This scenic drive requires all-wheel drive to get to the solitary pockets of green sandy beaches, which are created as a result of volcanic activity. You must plan a four-hour train to cross six miles of rugged terrain.
