The diameter of the piston is known as the bore. Cylinders with a larger hole can easily lift. Therefore, a large piston is used to increase the load capacity. A faulty piston will not lift as much as possible. Although the cylinder cannot leak outside, the damaged piston will allow the oils to pass through the piston. Thus, the pressure does not reach the required level and will not rise as expected.

Stem: The stem is the part connecting the oil seal and the piston of the cylinder. The diameter and hardness of the rod is very important for cylinders. For heavy duty cylinders, the rod is stronger, which is less prone to bending.

Epiploon: the epiploon passes through the piston in the cylinder. This is an integral part of the cylinder because it removes debris from the rod.

End cap: this is the base of the cylinder. The end cap is also important, as it prevents the entry of foreign particles into the tube.
