
Uganda offers you plenty of opportunities for a safari vacation with its many nature reserves and national parks, which give you the opportunity to explore the famous African landscape and come into close contact with wildlife in their natural habitat. You can choose from a variety, but if you only have a short time to visit, you can consider the following suggestions:
Murchison National Park - Park Murchison falls, and you can see a large number of elephants, giraffes, Ugandan cats (antelopes), buffaloes, hippos and crocodiles. Wildlife nature usually takes place on the northern shore of the Victoria Nile, in the area between Paraoy and Lake Albert. Worth a visit to see the falls, which include a fabulous trip along the Victoria River Nile to their base. On the way there are crocodiles and hippos, a lot of birds and, as a rule, elephants, if you are lucky, you could see a rare stork shoe.
Bwindi impassable national park - Blindi impenetrable forest is home to more than half the world's remaining population of the gorilla, most visitors to Uganda mainly to visit Bwindi in an exciting gorilla tracking mission. The park is also inhabited by forest elephants, other primates, including chimpanzees, colobus monkeys, baboons, duikers, bushes and a rare giant forest pig. Bwindi is also a popular birdwatching safari destination, as there are many birds as well as insect species. Bwindi, one of Africa’s most ancient tropical forests, is one of Africa’s richest areas of flora and fauna.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of the most popular safari spots in Uganda, covering almost 2000 sq. m. km, bordered on the north by the mountains of Rwenzori and from the west on Lake Edward. It has a stunning location in the rift valley between George and Edward Lakes and supports about 95 species of mammals and 612 species of birds. Activities include wildlife tours, chimp tracing and bird watching safaris.
Lake Mburo National Park - While you are looking for a huge wilderness. Lake Mburo maintains a national park, you can go through an open savannah, an acacia forest and a gallery, open water, rock cops, seasonal and permanent swamps. The park contains species that are not found in any other park, these include Eland, Impala and Burchell. Activities include watching games, boat / cruise cruises, bird watching, fishing tours, guided walking safaris - this is the only national park in Uganda where visitors can watch landscapes and animals while walking, but armed guards must accompany you.
