Striped bass fishing in Cape Cod Bay can be fantastic. There are many good places for fishing right from the beach, from the piers, from the piers and, of course, from the boat. The cape is well-known for striped bass and is definitely one of the best places for fishing on striped bass. Provincetown's Race Point is world famous for sport fishing. And on the cape there are many captains of captains of charter boats. We shot big striped bass and blue fish shows called Fishguts, with Ed McDonough, Al Howard and Captain Rich Schelle aboard Schelfish from Plymouth. Many of the shows were from Race Point, as well as Plymouth.
Another fantastic spot for strippers is Billingsgate Shoals from Wellfleet. It seems that on most days, when you go on a striped bass, you will fish while you pay attention to the feed. This year is a great year.
For strippers there should be at least 28 inches, and you can only hold two strips of this size or more for one angler.
Another great place for striped bass fishing in Cape Cod Bay is called Fingers. Fingers can be a very lucrative place in mid-summer at midnight. I prefer the black Fishguts Chum Tube Eel to work at a slow speed of 2 kHz using the core core line. We ate some 40 pound fish in the area.
There are many ways to fish for bass. You can throw bacteria, rubber eels, castmasters or Hopkins bait. Retirement should be very slow. Of course, the speed should be different if you don't get any hits. A fisherman can also use bottom fish for striptease. By this I mean that he / she can use pieces of mackerel and throw a measured line from the beach, pier or boat and let him sit on the bottom. Some fishermen prefer a float to keep your bait from below and away from crabs that would otherwise eat it.
Chumming also works great with striped bass fishing in Cape Cod Bay. Cumming is done by isolating a piece of shellfish from shellfish, oily oil, pieces of mackerel, etc. This can be expensive, but it works. Remember that you do not have to touch someone. Attract fish to this boat, but do not feed it. After the clown hunt begins, throw a live eel or swim a fresh piece of bait, similar to what you have, and let it jump out with you. It does not take long before you connect.
Some anglers swear by live eels and they work well. Many books have been written on this career. I could go on and on doing striped bass fishing, but I can only give some of the points in this article.
My last tip: the only way to catch a bass is to go out and try it. You can catch striped bass from the beach, fishing, moorings and boats. And do not forget to involve children in sporfishing. It gives them memories and is an excellent alternative to drug abuse. And remember that if you are not going to eat fish, then understand and release.
Look at the water.
