While many women are becoming more aware of labiaplasty surgery, which refers to reducing the size or reorganization of the inner vaginal lips, less attention is paid to labial mascaplasty or surgical rejuvenation of the labia minora, vaginal entry.
These structures may lose their original branded, well-defined appearance for many reasons. There may be genetic reasons for the loss of supporting connective tissue below the surface. The skin can lose its elasticity and youth from aging, childbirth and weight loss. All of these conditions lead to sagging, empty labia, which are aesthetically unsatisfactory, sometimes sexually awkward, and this is another reminder of getting older.
So what can a woman do? Many fillers have been used, such as fat collected from one part of the body and introduced into a laboratory major, or synthetic fillers such as Restalyne® or Juvederm® to avoid the hassle of transferring fat from one part of the body to another. Most recently, Dr. Jennifer Berman, a revered sex therapist in Los Angeles and, until recently, a long vocal critic of vaginal rejuvenation, spoke about the national television program “The Doctors”, she personally suffered a large carob pus with Sculptra® filler, because she saw sagging labia influenced her image of herself and the sense of youth. Dr. Berman’s disgusting public appeal of a skeptical supporter of vaginal rejuvenation can only give women the opportunity to take control of their bodies.
However, all these injections and fillers have limitations and are not without risk or side effect. They are expensive, they need to be redone periodically, and they can leave irregularities and unsightly blows if the material is not distributed sufficiently deeply or evenly. They provide good results, but are only temporary solutions.
The only permanent solution is genital pain. This is a surgical procedure in which all unsightly, hanging skin disappears along with some of the underlying tissues, which have lost the ability to maintain stability. The remaining connective tissue is then tightened and strengthened using specialized surgical techniques, and then attached to the renewed edges of the skin along with fine-soluble sutures. Mayoplasty, when the surgeon is studying this special method, takes no more than an hour as an outpatient procedure. The key to successful healing with a large cosmetic solution is to comply with all postoperative instructions and fair use of prescribed drugs and anti-aging creams to prevent the formation of scars.
Lapalia mayopaplasty is often performed in combination with other types of cosmetic surgery, such as vaginal rejuvenation, labiaplasty, vaginoplasty and hymenoplasty, as well as traditional plastic surgical procedures.
