Carpets in the Persian region - the oldest and most beautiful carpet in history today -2

Carpet weaving is often a secret family. Persian carpet making techniques are handed down from generation to generation through history. It is believed that the art of carpet weaving and art is represented by the Persian king Cyrus in 500 BC, which is one of the greatest rulers in the history of Persia. However, the Persian nomadic tribes of modern Iran learned about weaving with the use of sheep wool and hand knots, which they used to clad the floors of their tents before the time of the Cyrus of the Persian king.

During his reign as king of the Persian Empire in 529 BC carpets were made in the villages for the personal use of people in their homes and tents with certain projects of a particular village or tribe. The artistic design and quality of Persian carpets created a weaving industry focused on large-scale art and commercial enterprise, revolving around highly skilled and organized weaving workshops.

As the main product of the empire, carpet weaving gave privileges and attention. Artists would create a carpet design, and the best designs would be woven by the best weavers in the empire. Trade was created with Europe with Persian rugs as one of the threads that stimulated economic exchange, and Persia reached its golden age. Today, trade in antique carpets is the second largest exporter-exporter after oil 10 has taken 12% of oil exports to Iran. This has led to the fact that 14% of Iranians earn profits and livelihood through weaving the carpet.
