10 tips for finding where African Americans travel to any city you visit -2

I am an African-American man who loves to travel inland and occasionally explore new cities, even if I don’t have a true destination or sign. Sometimes on my journey I find it difficult to find places where my people hang out. Over the years, I have become a fan when it comes to sniffing places frequented by African Americans. So, I'm here to share some of my tips to help you find African American hot spots when you find yourself in an unfamiliar area.

Imagine that you are in a new city, and you want your hair to be made, but you have no recommendations, and does not provide any answers online. What if you just want to be in an atmosphere with a high African American presence. How about you want to go to clothing stores, but look for clothes in an urban style. Or maybe you want to go to a club, lounge or bar, but you want to come somewhere, play your style of music and serve the black crowd, and what are you doing?

Use the following tips to determine the places frequented by African Americans in any city where you are.

Go downtown

The city center is usually the center and melting pot of the city. Here, multicultural societies lie inside, which usually include the African-American community in or around the city. Stroll or stroll through the neighborhoods located in the city center, and pay attention to the demographics of the area. Also, go to nearby cities and visit their city center and sub-community. Choose the cities with the highest population.

Search attractions

Look at American-American sights, such as statues, museums, centers, or street names that pay homage to African-American people or a culture, such as Martin Luther King Jr. Street. Landmarks and street names do not always lead to finding the African American quarter, but very likely African American landmarks and street names will be in or near African American neighborhoods or communities.

Talk to the locals

Just tilt your gums. When you see someone who looks like they could point you in the right direction, then ask: “Where are the black people?” Or use a more hidden language, for example “Where can I get excellent food for the soul? What are the best hip-hop clubs in the area? What do our people like here? ”Talking and asking one of the locals will almost always be you results.

Eat at soul food restaurants

You will definitely find African Americans in soul restaurants in any city. Here you can ask your waiter / waitress about the city and places. You can also ask other patrons, but don't be rude or too vicious. You can easily find restaurants for the soul.

Bulletin boards and free flyers

Be on the lookout for bulletin boards or free flyers that boast African American events. Sometimes bulletin boards are found inside restaurants or local businesses. Sometimes you will find that someone is missing flyers for events in a crowded area, such as the city center.

Ask family, friends, and co-workers.

You probably know someone who was in the city you are visiting, or they know someone who was, if they were not. They may have knowledge of the area and can help you navigate to the destination of your comfort zone. Ask family, friends, and colleagues about recommendations and places.

Ask people online

It seems that nowadays there are all the answers on the Internet. Forums and forums are a good place to start. Ask a question and ask about the things you need to do for black people. However, sometimes it seems that some people are offended by asking a question related to race. So if all else fails, simply perform an online search for phrases such as “things for blacks in [insert city here]"," Hip-hop clubs in [insert city here]soul food in [insert city here]black churches in [insert city here] “Etc. Other online sources will be social networking sites or dating sites. Join a group (especially African-American groups) and send a question to a group or ask a question individually to potential players.

Ask hotel staff

If you stay in a hotel in the city, hotel staff can be an excellent resource for finding places frequented by black people. Suck it and just ask the hotel clerk, hotel maid, hotel concierge, shuttle driver, hotel bartender, etc. Politely apologize and ask if you know of any black [clubs, churches, restaurants, etc.] in area? Probably, this will not cause a brow from the hotel staff, because you will be surprised at what they get from travelers. They will probably use it. What is the worst that can happen? The hotel staff will tell you "no" that they do not know about any place where you are looking for, or about the worst, employees will find out about you, because a person looking for black hot spots will leave your stay at the hotel. Lol

Take public transportation

Catch the bus, take a taxi or go to Uber. Public transport, such as buses and trains, takes you through different neighborhoods. This will allow you to see different areas and demographic data. Taxis and Uber will give you the opportunity to talk to someone who probably knows the whole city as the back of their hands, so knowing most of the places where African Americans hang out. In most cases, you will need a destination to request a taxi or Uber, so I suggest you start by going to the city center and have a friendly conversation on your way. If you are already in the center of the city, then perhaps start with the appointment of a restaurant in the restaurant for the soul and talk to the driver to ask your question.

Ride

If you have wheels, then go through the city. Get lost, but not without GPS. Losing it will usually lead you to different areas and demographic data. You can also check with refuelers or clerks and ask your question.

These are just a few basic tips and suggestions for finding black people in any city. When you go out always, be careful and use common sense. As soon as you find a new place that you like, save a record and share your experience.

I'm sure there are many other ways to find where black people hang out, but now you have a reference guide that will help you. Although it helps you find people with color, I encourage diversity and explore other cultural events during your trip. It's just for those special times when you want to be among black people. Happy travels!
