Our journey led us to the Yorkshire valleys in a place called Asenbi near Thirsk. What a wonderful site welcomes you in the form of a beautiful public house with a covered thatched roof and many strange and wonderful objects that are strategically located on and around it. In the end, it was Crab & Lobster, so the crab and lobster are what we saw. This is the kind of site that you see in your life when you are wondering if you are still in a dream or on some medicine. Needless to say, we definitely were not at last. This beautiful little building is the beginning of your beautiful weekend, holiday or even your wedding day. More on this pub later.
Right behind us, we found the Hotel Crab Manor. When you go to a pebble park, you are greeted by two large white hounds. Dog statues line up to a magnificent entrance door, surrounded by climbing ivy that reaches the roof. In fact, when we looked around the house, it was the dream of gardeners with trees of all colors and types, shrubs and flowers. If this were a taste of abundance inside, we were in a wonderful treat.
Going out into the corridor, it's good that I can say that they consider him to be faith. Decorated with beautiful artifacts and antiques, we did not know where to look first. I could see terrible, and I mean intense yeti in the window of the ladder, wearing a pinny. There were the biggest watches I have ever seen in my life on the wall. For those who have poor eyesight, do not worry. To tell you all that we could see, only from the area in which we stood, created pages and description pages. You will be met by a reception desk, which is also very informative and friendly and will be shown in the room of your choice, which may be Waldorf Atoria in New York, Cipriana Palace in Venice. Hotel La Mamounia in Marrakesh and more. We stayed at the Sharrow Bay Hotel in Ullswater.
As we walked through the door, in front of you was a bed with four posters with curtains and cherubs and beautiful bedding. I could not wait to lie under a canopy and imagine that I, at least, was a fee. Below are a few steps - a living room with a TV, wonderful furniture and chips! Yes, chips are not only old chips, but are packed in a container that I have never seen before, and enough to feed the army. Cookies, coffee and tea.
Then we entered the bathroom and, oh my goodness, what a generous room. Perhaps this is where I can stay for two days. Calm down the bubbles until my skin turns into prunes. In the center of the room there was a roll-up bathtub in which I dreamed, for me all the same. Beautiful taps and tiled flooring, with plaster cherubs on the walls.
After recovering from the shock of all the decor and amenities, we were then shown in the jacuzzi, outside of which was the icing on the cake. The evenings shimmered in the evening to make it so romantic and create a great atmosphere for any couple.
After some time, we changed and went down to a small pub, located a few minutes walk from the hotel.
Well, what greeted us was the brightest, warmest and most cozy atmosphere I have ever been to. Hundreds and hundreds of curious antiques and “things” are everywhere. You just had to go and see for yourself, so I even touched on what we saw. The yellow tablecloths and napkins bought the entire room, and we were just stupid.
We ordered the lamb and our faces to be simultaneously delighted with the richness of meat and taste when we ate at night. He also renamed the fish restaurant, but this time we went to the Lamb. Next. All the staff were ready to make our evening superb, and it was, we could not blame him. There was not a single negative negative comment we could think about.
Our night was beautiful under my royal canopy, and when morning came, we again went down to the restaurant for breakfast. This time it was at the conservatory. Once again, I can only say that you will have to go and experience the decor and that I can only say how incredible. For breakfast, we tried fish that were on the worst plate with as much toast and tea, juice and coffee as you could drink.
I did not want any of my impressions of Crab and Omar to end, that it was a fabulous stay.
It was not like the day before I asked if I could look at other rooms, as well as at log houses in all territories in different parts of the world. We not only showed ourselves, but also the CEO, and even the kindest person. He took us to each room and explained the ornaments behind them. He spared us a lot of time and we appreciated the tour.
If you can go and experience what we have done, you will have the most fantastic way out for a weekend, vacation or wedding, whatever you choose to book, you will never have a long way to get there.
